Service Limitations:

Our services, while comprehensive and high-quality, come with certain limitations. For example, older or compromised HVAC systems may face additional risks during maintenance or repair. While we take every precaution to prevent damage, unforeseen issues can arise, particularly with outdated systems.

Damages:

Ascano HVAC & Property Management is not liable for incidental or consequential damages to property or personal belongings that may occur during our services. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to attic insulation, ceilings, walls, floor coverings, and personal equipment. Customers are advised to secure and protect their property prior to service. Additionally, we do not repair or replace wallpaper, other wall coverings, or floor coverings that might be damaged during the course of our work.

Water Heater Settings:

We recommend that water heaters remain set at 120 degrees Fahrenheit as per manufacturer guidelines and industry standards. Adjusting this setting can pose safety risks and may void certain warranties. Ensuring your water heater is set correctly is vital for both safety and energy efficiency.

Hazardous Materials:

We do not handle hazardous or toxic materials. This includes asbestos, lead-based paints, and other potentially dangerous substances. Additionally, we refrain from servicing or repairing any equipment or systems deemed obsolete or hazardous according to current safety standards. Customers should arrange for specialized removal or repair services for such materials prior to our scheduled work.

Mold and Mildew Waiver:

Customers acknowledge that HVAC and plumbing services may involve risks related to mold and mildew. By accepting our services, customers assume all responsibility for any mold-related issues, including property damage and health risks. Ascano HVAC & Property Management disclaims any liability for identifying, notifying, or remedying mold-related conditions. Mold and mildew can develop in areas with poor ventilation or existing moisture problems, and while our services can help improve these conditions, we are not mold remediation specialists.

Waiver of Liability:

While we strive for excellence in all repairs and services, customers acknowledge that some risks are inherent. Ascano HVAC & Property Management limits its liability to the provision of labor and parts necessary to correct defects covered by our warranty. We do not warrant repairs on Polybutylene plumbing systems, considering any connections or repairs temporary until full replacement can be arranged.

Customers agree not to hold Ascano HVAC & Property Management liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from service activities. This waiver extends to all potential damages, whether to property or personal health.
